Welcome

I enjoy sailing. Sailing has brought to me a set of skills opportunites and relationships. Sailing has taken me into unforeseeable situations that have helped to resolved some of my fears and has helped to set personal challenges that in the past I was reluctant to face or attempt to tackle. It has given me positive and negative insights into my personality and behaviour. It has forced me to look more closely at the facade, the mask that I show to the world.
I recall being at sea in a forty knot gale
and having to work as a team member when internally I wanted to
panic. On the lake when the boat capsizes it is up to you to get
yourself back on board and back sailing. The only way home is to sail
home.
At sea, when the boat is working with the wind and the current and tides there are few if any better places to be. But when the wind and sea conspire to challenge the course of the boat and the mortal fears and physical fragility of the crew there is nowhere to go to or to hide from the awesome and terrifying force of nature on the rampage.
